From the North

Via I94 East
From eastbound I94 take the downtown Fourth Street exit. Proceed two blocks on Fourth Street to Hennepin Avenue and turn left, then travel four blocks on Hennepin and turn left onto First Street North. The Minneapolis Fed is the first building on the right.

Via I35 South
From I35 South exit on Fourth Street, turn right, travel to First Ave. N.E., turn left and follow First Ave. across the river to First Street N.
Turn right onto First Street N. The Minneapolis Fed is the first building on the right. For alternate routes check MnDOT.

From the East

From I94 West to the Fifth Street exit and proceed to Park Avenue. Turn right on Park Avenue for three blocks to Washington Avenue, then left on Washington Avenue for six blocks to Hennepin Avenue. Turn right onto Hennepin Avenue and go two blocks to First Street North, turn left. The Minneapolis Fed is the first building on the right.

From the South

From I35 North and take the Fifth Avenue exit. Travel Fifth Avenue and take a left onto Washington Avenue. Follow Washington for five blocks to Hennepin Avenue and take a right, go two blocks to First Street North, turn left. The Minneapolis Fed is the first building on the right.

From the West

From I394 and take the Washington/Third Avenue exit. Cross Washington Avenue and continue east to First Street North. Turn right. The Minneapolis Fed is on the left.

From the Airport

The Bank is approximately 25 minutes from the Minneapolis/St. Paul International Airport. Taxi fare to downtown Minneapolis is approximately $25.00 one way. Airport shuttle service is also available through SuperShuttle.

Public Transportation

Bus route information, via the Metropolitan Council including information on the Hiawatha Light Rail between the airport and downtown Minneapolis. From the light rail, depart at the Warehouse District stop and the Fed is five blocks north on First Avenue North.

Visitor Identification Policy

Everyone entering the building must present a picture ID to the Protection staff.
